2014年的北京设计周荷兰项目是由品项团队担任活动策划方。作为荷兰在2014年北京设计周中参与的项目之一，“展望2050：创立中荷合作的可持续性城市化方案”项目由荷兰创意产业基金于2013年7月首次倡导建立，该项目旨在探讨荷兰的整体性规划方法对中国大都市地区在快速城市化进程中所面临的种种挑战能够做出怎样的贡献。通过开展针对具体空间规划问题的中荷“设计性研究”工作周，探讨这一问题，旨在探寻一种中荷合作的可持续性城市发展方案。
The Dutch Program for 2014 Beijing Design Week was curated and executed by The Pin Projects. As one of the Dutch events at the 2014 Beijing Design Week, “Toward 2050: Developing a Sino-Dutch Approach for Sustainable Urbanization” was first established by the Dutch Creative Industries Fund in July 2013. The program explored the contribution that Dutch planning methods could make to resolving various challenges confronted by Chinese
metropolitan areas in the course of rapid urbanization. The participants explored this issue by organizing a Sino-Dutch Research by Design Work Wee focusing on specific spatial planning issues, in order to identify a sustainable urban development plan formulated by Chinese and Dutch participants.
